Throughout the development of my Instructional Design Document, I began to see more and more the impact that educational technology can have in the English classroom. My intention began as a focus on teaching a specific skill within the English language arts and reading curriculum; through the revision process, I was able to see how much educational technology could enhance and improve the instruction of that skill.
For that reason, I decided to widen the scope of my research and focused my literature review on the use of educational technology in the entire English classroom.
